Emily has undertaken a plethora of public art commissions for hospitals, schools, police stations, parks and galleries. Often inspiration is drawn from working with local communities; allowing Emily to create art pieces which are calming, uplifting and powerfully evocative due to their symbolism and geographical references of the local environment and it's people.

These commissions have been created with a multitude of differing material applications having to be considered as part of the client's brief. Perspex, glass, canvas, fabric, carpeting, vinyl flooring and light boxes have featured strongly as materials; and indeed one of the most wonderful aspects of Emily's art is that almost any material can be utilized and incorporated opening up a world of opportunities!

The process behind these art pieces is a fascinating journey of exploration for the client and Emily respectively; engaging the senses at all levels as Emily creates and brings into reality the client's vision.
