We all have experience of relationships whether they are good or bad, fun or intense family or friend they are maybe what unites us as people. I think too our adult culture often finds it hard to talk about relationships, however by sharing thoughts and feelings problems can be solved and new ways of working together transpire. It is taken for granted that we create relationships with people, but we also create relationships with the world around us, with our gardens, our homes, our holidays and therefore also our schools.

Our relationship with school is incredibly important; it guides us through the most informative years of our lives, yet little time is ever spent thinking about that relationship. Love Ties 2 aims to transfer those often-complex conversations, thoughts and feelings from people to place. From previous, present or future relationships to thoughts feelings and passions about school. Collaborating with Creative Writer, Maria Whatton Love Ties 2 worked with Year 8 and Year 10 to enable them to write a Love Letter to their School.
